Biography  
William Berg


William Berg was born in Tacoma, WA in 1917. Berg studied in Los Angeles at the Chouinard Art Institute. In 1938 he went to work at Disney Studios as an animator of "Pinocchio." During his 50 years there he wrote and sketched many of the Donald Duck cartoons (one earned him an Oscar in 1959). He also wrote for "The Mickey Mouse Club" and "Wonderful World of Disney" television shows. Berg died in San Juan Capistrano, CA on March 2, 2002.
