William (Von Ammon) Harring was active/lived in California, New York / Germany.  William Harring is known for chromolithography, chromist, and painting.

William (Von Ammon) Harring

William Harring was born in Prussia in 1812.  Harring worked in Boston for the Louis Prang Company before settling in San Francisco.  He worked there as an oleographer at the Bosqui Printing Company from the 1870s until his death in 1894.
