The following biographical data is from Bill Lockwood, who wrote: "I came across this information while doing some research on this talented female artist and since you don't have a biography on her, thought it might be of interest. She was featured in Life magazine in March of 1950 as one of the most promising American artists under the age of 36. Each of those featured artists had one piece selected for a show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art which also opened March, 1950.
