Henry Martin Formhals

Born in Los Angeles, CA on Aug. 2, 1908. After graduating from Pasadena High School, Formhals studied locally at the Stickney Art School. He then worked for several years as a commercial artist before collaborating with artist Fred Fox on such comic strips as "Ella Cinders" and "Freckles and his Friends." Formhals died in his native city on May 12, 1981.
