These Notes represent the beginning of a possible future biography for this artist. Please click here if you wish to help in its development.

Born in Pinsk, Russia.  By the 1920s Hilda had immigrated to California.  She studied art at UCLA, the Jepson Art Institute (Los Angeles), Pasadena City College, and UC Berkeley.  Upon graduation in 1933, she became the wife of Joseph Levy and lived in Pasadena into the 1960s. 

Exh:  Calif. WC Society, 1953-54; Pasadena Museum, 1960; Santa Monica Art Gallery, 1964; Temple Valley Beth Shalom (Encino), 1965.
