The following was submitted by Holly K. Johnson:
I was told, by my uncle, that Birdsall died one winter, in a hunting lodge in New York State. He was kept frozen, until spring, when the ground became soft, and he was buried. He was married to Marie Cherry, and had four children, Albert (my grandfather) Grace, Jenny, and Harrison. They lived in a farm house in Hammonton, NJ, on Ninth Street.
Marie remarried, to Allen Smith and had one son. My grandfather did not get along with Mr. Smith, and took his sibling to Carney's Point, NJ where they lived on a houseboat, and my grandfather worked for the Dupont Company. Several years later my great grandmother, died, by falling out of a upstairs window of the farm house, in Hammonton.
I cannot discover where he is buried in New York State, or what year.
