Olive K Sage
(1877 - 1967)
Olive K. Sage was active/lived in Connecticut. Olive Sage is known for impressionist painting.
Olive Sage was the daughter of Edwin W. Sage and Clara Tracy-Phillips born October 29, 1877. She was named for her paternal grandmother Olive Demings Sage (paternal grandfather was Elisha Sage).
Olive never married but spent much of her time with her brother Edwin E. Sage, Sr. and his family at Andover, Connecticut. Olive was known to her great nephew and nieces as Loll because they could not pronounce Olive when they were small children.
She died May 1, 1967.
Family members still live in Andover, Connecticut and the area. All treasure her beautiful impressionist paintings.
You will find a photo of one of Aunt Olive's paintings at the Andover Home Town News, April 15, 2009 article regarding the donation of some of her paintings to the Museum of Andover History.
