In 1957, William Morris was born in Carmel, California.
Morris, a glass artist, was a gaffer for Dale Chihuly early in his career. He has collaborated with artists like Ross Richmond, Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen, Jon Ormbrek, Rik Allen, Randy Walker and Trumaine Mason. Morris has traveled worldwide working with glass masters and teaching workshops and demonstrations.
Since 1987, Morris has been a student, gaffer, teacher, and resident artist at Pilchuck Glass School in Washington. In addition to these, he was Artistic Director in 1991and member of the Board of Directors in 1992.
