Anderson is a painter of portraits, still lifes,
and landscape, and his commissions have ranged from painting book
covers to portraits to corporate presidents. He has also exhibited in
numerous museum shows including the national touring exhibition
"Classical Realism: The Other Twentieth Century."
recent museum exhibitions include "The Academic Dialogue" at the
Minneapolis Institute of Arts and "The American Still Life" at the
Minnesota Museum of Art. He has also received numerous awards including
the Stacey Foundation Scholarship for artist and the New York
Salmagundi Club Award for Artistic Excellence.

1958 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, received his art education at Atelier Lack
Studio School of Art in Minneapolis, and until 2002, when he moved to Tucson, Arizona, maintained a studio
in St. Paul, Minnesota.
