Richard Taicher was born in 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his formal education from the Tyler School of Fine Arts at Temple University and received the Dean's Gold Medal for outstanding scholarship and achievement in fine art. In addition to painting, Mr. Taicher has worked and studied in the areas of graphic and furniture design, drawing upon those experiences in his works. He has recently been featured in American Artist Magazine. His work is part of numerous private and public collections and he has won many awards.
