Ruth Rita Kagan (from artist information sheet and exhibition catalogs from Ligoa Duncan Arts Center, 1965 and 1967):

Born : New York City Occupation : Assistant Secretary for the Institute of International Education at the United Nations.  Studied under L. Jean Liberte and Nathaniel Dirk.

Education: Art Students League; New School of Social Research under Robert Gwathmey; New York University under Carmilo Eggs and Samuel Adler. 

Exhibitions: Metropolitan Museum of Art (National Show); Henry George School; Ada Artzt Gallery; New School of Social Research; Great Northern Hotel; New York University; Public School at Madison & 105th Street; Washington Square Outdoor Show; Ligoa Duncan Gallery; Raymond Duncan Gallery; Church of the Covenant; two one-man shows and various group shows.
