Born in Calgary, Alberta, Will Rafuse began pursuing his interest in painting in 1994 in Vancouver. He paints everyday subjects and scenes of human and animal activity in bold colors and a stylized form, most often presenting a witty and light-hearted sense to everyday life.
Will graduated from the Graphic Art and Illustration Program of Capilano College in 1996 and continued working at Stanley Park's Painter's Corner in Vancouver until 2000. In 1997 he began marketing his work through the limited edition poster market and has since then gained international recognition for his work.
His works have been chosen for a Children's school text book in France, and for the cover of the Dictionary of Food Compounds
published in Great Britain. He created the cover art work for the Canadian Broadcasting Company's, Jurgen Gothe 20th Anniversary Discdrive CD & cookbook.
Rafuse has donated many original works to worthy causes, and his images are licensed for a variety of products.

Will RAFUSE, born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, was educated at Capilano University in North Vancouver, British Columbia where he received scholarships and awards. Since 2006 he lives and paints in Montreal, Quebec.
He worked as a freelance illustrator for many years with work published in the United States and Canada. He began exhibiting as a painter in 2003, and since then he has been concentrating full-time creating his original oil paintings. He no longer does illustration work.
