Alice began drawing from an early age, a hobby that served as therapy when she was at rest on two occasions for different accidents, a fact that marked him for life and was reflected in his artistic production. In the early 1930s he married Wolfgang Paalen, this union allowed him to interact with the Surrealist group, mainly with Antonin Artaud and André Bretón. With them he shared ideas and artistic postures, they had a direct and decisive influence on Rahon's sensitivity and his need to express himself in a new way.
