(1850 - 1921)
Oskar Gladenbeck was active/lived in Germany. Oskar Gladenbeck is known for sculpture (foundry owner).
Eldest son of renowned founder Hermann Gladenbeck (1827, Berlin-1918), Oskar ( 1850-1921) first co-operated with his father and later on became the leader of the foundry, when Hermann Gladenbeck retired in 1892. The firm flourished during the time of public monuments, fountains and other memorials but they also produced smaller bronze works.
Hermann's younger sons Walter, Paul, and Alfred were founders as well but family discord and dwindling orders led to the demise of the foundry.
