Pieter Nason

Biography from Auctionata

In 1639, Pieter Nason was admitted in St. Luke’s Guild of The Hague.  Of his apprenticeship is not known, except that he was presumably a student of Jan Anthoniszoon van Ravesteyn.  In 1656, he was co-founder of the Guild of ‘Confrérie Pictura‘.  He has worked at the electoral court in Berlin around 1666.
