Richard Sachs

German landscape painter and designer (1875 Plauen until 1947 special camp Jamlitz at Lieberose), to 1892 students of the Royal Industrial School in Plauen (art school), then wandering through Bavaria and Tirol, temporarily active in Trento as a monastery painter, 1902 first exhibition, from. 1905 freelance in Jocketa, entertained a pattern here Zeichenatelier, member of the "group of painters Vogtland", some teachers at the Plauen Arts and Crafts school, charged 1944 the Great German Art exhibition in Munich, interned 1945-47 in Bautzen and later in special camps Jamlitz in Lieberose , active in Jocketa, source: the artist's family, Thieme-Becker, Dressler and Frank White "painting in Vogtland".
