Ernst Schweinfurth was active/lived in Germany. Ernst Schweinfurth is known for painting.
Schweinfurth worked in the studio of Carl Ludwig Frommel in Karlsruhe as
of 1832, where he made copperplate prints, engravings and drawings.
After a short stay in Freiburg in Breisgau, he later moved to Munich
where he became a member of the Munich Art Society in 1871. Following
sojourns to Dalmatia and Montenegro he settled in Rome in 1853, where
the present work was completed.
