The Cuban painter Servando Cabrera Moreno studied at the San Alejandro Academy, took classes at the Art Students League in New York and attended La Grande Chaumiere in Paris. After a cubist abstract creative phase he then turned to the revolution in a realistic style revolutionary topics and in the 70s he addressed the eroticism in his works.
His first solo exhibition was at the Lyceum, Havana in 1943. In addition to group exhibitions, he participated in the Venice Biennale, Mexico and São Paulo. His work can be found in museums, galleries and private collections worldwide.
