a pupil of his grandfather Francesco Morani, who worked as an architect
Since 1869, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in
Naples. His teachers were Tito Angelini, and Tommaso Solari, among others.
In Naples, he met important contemporary artists such as Enrico Alvino,
Gabriel Smargiassi, and Edoardo Dalbono.
Jerace worked with materials such as marble, gesso, and bronze. His oeuvre presents historical,
mythological, allegoric, and religious subjects. Additionally, it includes portraits, and a
few genre scenes.
