Mayuca Yamamoto is active/lives in Japan. Mayuca Yamamoto is known for painting.
Mayuka Yamamoto was born in 1964 in Okayama, now works and lives in
Gunma. After completing the Master Program from Musashino Art
University, she studied in London under Japanese Government Oversea
Program for Artists. Since 1992, Yamamoto has participated in numerous
solo and group exhibitions with Ai Gallery and Gallery Tsubaki. In
recent years her artworks receive worldwide attention by collectors. In
her paintings, Yamamoto's subject is a lovely, quiet boy. Whether he
wears in a penguin suit or deer's horn, his facial expression remains
calm and subtle, from which it is hard for audience to perceive his true
emotions. He wanders in his own world, and that the chance of being
able to freely imagine in serenity and naivety is what really fascinates
audience about Yamamoto's art.
