Isabel Wadsworth received her art education at the Wellesley College in Massachusetts, followed by studies at the Villa Schifanoia in Florence, Italy, where she earned a Masters Degree in Art History.
She moved to Los Angeles from New York City in 1976 to concentrate on fine art portraiture. As a member of the American Society of Portrait Artists, she has painted personal and business portraits - single and group, formal and informal. In addition, she paints landscapes and still-lifes, both in the studio and en plein air.
Museum exhibitions include The Pasadena Museum of History, Pasadena Museum of California Art, Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University and the Phippen Museum in Prescott, Arizona.
Isabel Wadsworth is a member of the California Art Club, Oil Painters of America, and the American Society of Portrait Artists.
