Is this the Louise Lewis who was an art teacher in San Rafael, located in Marin County, California? She was a cofounder of the Marin Society of Artists in 1927. She headed the San Rafael Art Department from 1935 – 1959, as listed in Hughes?] OR [The still life, “Magnolias,” below, seems more to match Louise Garland Lewis who taught art and art history at Agnes Scott College, a private women's college in Decatur, Georgia from 1900 to 1943. Her art education included study at University of Chicago, University of Paris, Art Institute of Chicago, Academie Julian, and Ecole Delacluse. per askart.com] OR [is this the Louise S.
