Born in Rosedale, B.C., Canada on March 6, 1917. After graduating from Chouinard Art Institute in 1940, Rosinda Sellers went to work in San Diego in an advertising agency. The following year she married artist Rexford Holmes and moved to San Francisco into Maynard Dixon's old studio (later the Melvin Belli office). After settling on a prune farm near Healdsburg, CA in 1958, she remained there until her death on Nov. 2, 2001.
