Mildred Ada Scott Watersworth was born in San Francisco, CA on March 9, 1905.  Uprooted by the earthquake and fire of 1906, the Scott family moved across the bay to Ross where Mildred's grandfather, Harry S. Scott had served as the town's first mayor.  She grew up there an attended the Katharine Branson School. 

Opting for an art career, she studied with Rudolph Schaeffer, California School of Fine Arts, and privately with Jade Fon, Harold Gretzner, Nat Levy, and Herman Struck.  Active in the local art scene, she exhibited and taught both in Marin County and San Francisco.  Mrs. Watersworth died on Jan. 7, 1980. 

Member:  Society of Western Artist; Marin Watercolor Society; Marin Society of Artists. 

Exhibits:  Society of Western Artists, 1949-73; Marin County Art & Garden Center, 1956, 1966, 1968; Marin Society of Artists 1965; Lodi Grape Festival, 1967-73; Santa Rosa Statewide, 1970.

Born in San Francisco, CA on March 9, 1905. Opting for an art career, she studied at the CSFA and privately with Jade Fon, Harold Gretzner, Nat Levy, and Herman Struck. Active in the local art scene, she exhibited and taught both in Marin County and San Francisco. She died died in the latter on Jan. 7, 1980. She was the wife of Max Watterworth. Exh: Marin WC Society; SWA, 1949-73; Marin County Art & Garden Center, 1956, 1966, 1968; Marin Society of Artists, 1965; Lodi Grape Festival, 1967-73; Santa Rosa Statewide, 1970.
