Te-Wang Chen was active/lived in China. TeWang Chen is known for paintings.
Born in Taipei, he was influenced by Toho Shiotsuki and studied painting
in Taiwan Institute of Painting under Kinichiro Iskikawa and Ni
Jiang-Huaiyu. 20 years in Japan, he had participated in Kawabate
Drawing Institute, Opening Sketch Drawing Institute, Second division,
and Kyrgyzstan. He had taught in many schools since graduation. He was
selected into 50 Teachers of the Provinces' Annual Awards for many
He often painted one subject for several times to create
airy atmosphere in layers of colors. He had never held any exhibition
in his lifetime and most of his works were unsighted. This shows his
desire for perfection.
