Te-Wang Chen was active/lived in China.  TeWang Chen is known for paintings.

Te-Wang Chen

Born in Taipei, he was influenced by Toho Shiotsuki and studied painting in Taiwan Institute of Painting under Kinichiro Iskikawa and Ni Jiang-Huaiyu.  20 years in Japan, he had participated in Kawabate Drawing Institute, Opening Sketch Drawing Institute, Second division, and Kyrgyzstan.  He had taught in many schools since graduation.  He was selected into 50 Teachers of the Provinces' Annual Awards for many times.

He often painted one subject for several times to create airy atmosphere in layers of colors.  He had never held any exhibition in his lifetime and most of his works were unsighted. This shows his desire for perfection.
