Mingxian Jiang is known for landscape painting.
Jiang Mingxian was born in Taiwan in 1942. He received his undergraduate
degree in Fine Arts from the National Normal University of Taiwan in
1968, and his Masters Degree from La Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de
San Fernando in Madrid.
He was a professor at the National Normal
University of Taiwan from 1997-2012, where he taught under the Fine Arts
department. From 2002-2005, Jiang served as the head of their Fine Arts
Department, as well as the head of their research academy.
Jiang was named committee member and researcher at the Chinese Paintings
Academy. In 2012, he was named honorary professor at the Research
Institute of the Normal University of Taiwan. Finally in 2014, Jiang was
invited to become a committee member at the Twelfth Nationwide
Collaborated Exhibition between Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and other

galleries and museums in Spain, Paris, Tokyo, and major cities in China
and the US. He has also been invited to more than hundreds of important
exhibitions all over the world.
