Laurie Fendrich is an abstract painter who lives and works in New York.  She is a Professor of Fine Arts at Hofstra University, in Hempstead, NY, where she has been teaching since 1989.

Her work has been reviewed in such publications as The New York Times, Art in America, ARTS Magazine, ArtNews, ArtForum, Partisan Review, The New York Observer, New York Magazine.

She has received an NEA grant, and has been a visiting artist at a number of institutions, including Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, The Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn, NY, the Art Institute of Chicago, the University of Delaware, Triangle Workshop, and The Irish Arts Cou  ...  Displaying 750 of 2744 characters.
