Following is a biography based on information provided to AskART by Long Gallery of Scottsdale, Arizona:

Bonnie Paruch's art comes from her life in West Bend, Wisconsin. Whenever the weather cooperates, she goes outside to paint, and her "Plein Air" impressions celebrate the beauty of life. The rural landscape, still life, interior scenes, cafes and street scenes are all subjects for her brush. Her oil and pastel paintings have been recognized by "The Artist" magazine, The Pastel Society of America, The National Oil and Acrylic Painters, North Light magazine, and The Art Calendar. In March of 1999, North Light Books published Bonnie's painting "Sweet Gentle Light" in the book "The Best of Flower Painting II."

She has been in Selected National and Regional Exhibitions including the 1999 "Charitable Arts" Plein Air Tucson, where as an invited artist, she was awarded "Best Color" from a field of 188 entries. She was one of 30 invited artists who participated in, "The Art of the West", "Diamonds and Spurs" art auction in Boulder, Colorado, and was a Quick-Draw artist -Phippen Western Art Show-Prescott, Arizona. She also participated in the Plein-Air Paint Out as one of ten invited artists at the Birchstone Studio and Gallery, in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin. In 1999, she became a member of The Pastel Society of America, and was a Purchase Award Winner.

Bonnie is an Associate Member of the International Society of Artists (conferred by "The Artists Magazine") and an Associate Member of the Oil Painters of America.
