Biography  
George Bosworth


Known as a pen and ink artist, George Bosworth was active in Boston and New Bedford, Massachusetts. He was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts and studied at Yale University in 1881. He was a member of the Boston Art Club, and his work is in the Old Dartmouth Historical Society.

He began his career as an architect in New Haven and then moved to Boston in 1886 where he joined the firm of Shepley, Rutan and Coolidge and later joined with Chapman and Frazer.
