Biography  
Laurie Fader


Landscape artist, Laurie Fader, lives in Brooklyn, New York. She earned a M.F.A degree, with honors, in painting from Yale University. Fader teaches art at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, the 92nd Street Y in New York City and The Silvermine School of Art in Connecticut.

In 2000 the artist was awarded a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant. She spent three months painting agricultural landscapes in Hungary. Fader has also been awarded a faculty development fund from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and Artist Fellowship Award and a painting fellowship in Haiti.
