Ruth Fay (Doud) Muddox was active/lived in California, Arizona. Ruth Muddox is known for landscape and seascape painting.
Ruth Fay Muddox Doud was born on November 8, 1895. In her early years she lived in Sacramento, California and studied with Lorenzo P. Latimer. She worked primarily in watercolors and frequently painted landscapes and seascapes.
In 1920 she married William E. Doud and settled in San Francisco. Her works have been exhibited at the California State Fair, the Oakland Art Gallery (now the Oakland Museum of Art), the San Francisco Art Association, the Society for Sanity in Art, and the California Palace of Legion of Honor in San Francisco.
At the time of her husband's death in 1957 she was living in Marin County, California.
Afterwards she moved to Sedona, Arizona, where she died on January 15, 1990.
