A performance artist, assistant to Andy Warhol, creator of erotic artwork, and window designer for his life partner, Halston, Victor Hugo studied at the Art Students League. He was often at Studio 54 with his outrageous performances. Among his output was a series of "Statue of Liberty", "Flowers" and "Fried Eggs".
He is referenced in the Andy Warhol Diaries, published in 1989.
