He has won eleven awards, cash and ribbons at exhibits at Jordon Marsh Co. From 1947 thrrough 1965, and had displays at the Waltham Citizens National Bank, and also Newton Highlands Library.
He studied water colors under Karl Oberteuffer from 1941 through 1946, having started painting water colors in 1922 after taking drawing lessons from Anson Cross. He also studied withRobert Logan between 1925 and 1940.
Eaton has had one-man shows at Twentieth Century Club in 1937 and 1940, and at the Copley Square Society in 1963. He was voted Master Craftsman at Lexington Arts and Crafts Exhibition in 1958.
