Antis, Harry E.
Born: 1942 Michigan / Studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Harry E. Antis was a realistic painter of North American waterfowl, big game, and upland game birds. He was inspired by animals and birds, forests, mountains, and fields, their wonder and excitement.

He received formal training at the Society of Arts and Crafts in Detroit, and got his start in commercial art, which helped sharpen his artistic abilities. Dozens of his paintings have been reproduced in prints and sell very well.

Antis was a member of Wildlife Artists International.
