He lived in New Hartford, Connecticut and Rockport, Massachusetts.  He studied at the University of California, San Francisco; the Art Students League with Harvey Dunn; and the Academy Colarossi, Paris.

He was a member of the Allied Artists Association, Audubon Artists, American Watercolor Society; New Haven Paint and Clay, Kent Art Association.

His work was exhibited at the National Academy of Design; the Hartford Atheaneum, Connecticut Watercolor Society, Rockport Art Association, North Shore Art Association, Allied Artists Association.

Paintings are in the collections of the New Britain Museum of Art, Wadsworth Atheneum, Springfield Art Museum,  ...  Displaying 750 of 1076 characters.
