A miniature portrait painter of international reputation, Eulabee Dix has a life-story of professional and personal success and then ebbing popularity as an artist, and of mixed circumstances in her personal life including a peripatetic childhood, marriage, divorce and estrangement from her children. After living many places in her youth because of her father taking a variety of jobs, she settled in New York City in a Carnegie Towers studio apartment at 152 West 57th Street.
