Alexander was one of forty-one woodcut artists chosen for the First Annual Exhibiton of Contemporary Woodcuts in 1932. His two wooducts were "Depot Corners" and "Sunday Afternoon." That exhibit showed at the Brooklyn Museum in 1933. The catalog may be seen online.
