Von Hassler itemJon Davis
I have an original Von Hassler that my father purchased from the artist in the late '30's while he was traveling for business. It is a still life of mums in a vase on an Indian rug or such draped over a table. I would welcome any information that anyone might have regarding the piece.

My father was a physician and surgeon in Albuquerque and patched the artist together after some lively living for which he was paid 3 times with oil paintings.
Madonna of NavajolandNancy Peteson
I have a beautiful print of the Madonna of Navajoland. the original used to hang in the Trading Post on the square in Old Town. My folks were friends of Carl and tried to help him out from time to time. I guess a lot of our folks did. He was an incredible artist and well loved by most.
If anyone knows about this painting I'd be interested in finding out where the original is.Thx! Nancy<><
