Morning SnowBeverly Lind
I have an old paper copy of a picture that is called "Morning Snow" It is a large red building with a women in the doorway holding a broom, and a small child behind her. They are looking at a sled filled with milk cans, pulled by a horse going by. Everything is covered with snow.
I do an art appreciation program in my elementary school and this picture was in the folder of American Women Artists. There is no signature or date on the front, and no other information except "Morning Snow, Charlotte Joan Sternberg" on the back. Can you tell me anything about it? Thank you for any information you can give me.

I'm Charlotte's daughter, and I think those of you that think you have a watercolor probably have an early print. She always signed C.J.Sternberg, or Charlotte Joan Sternberg, and most of her work was in egg tempera. Some are watercolor & egg tempera combined. Oh, and she loved horses!!!!!

I have a water color by Charlotte Joan Sternberg and absolutely appreciate her work. Thie piece is a farm scne with houses, church and farmland with a girl and horse . I was wondering if there may be more information available about her works, particularly if she did any other works with horses.

Is that the way this artist signs her paintings? I picked this up at auction and I am curious who she is. I apprciate any information.
