In 2009, I had the privilege of seeing Clyde Aspevig's one-man show at the National Arts Club. It was truly awe-inspring and one of the greatest exhibits I've ever seen.
His canvases reveal the artist's creative genius and vision. Whether painting intimate scenes or capturing the grandeur of the West, Aspevig's pictures have a poetic quality that delight the senses. He may very well be the best landscape painter of our time.

I was inspired by an article in the May 1994 issue of American Artist which featured his paintings in an article called "Achieving Harmony through Design" Clyde should write a book about landscape painting, I would buy it!
The painting he did called "Between Land and Sea" in the magazine was the best seascape I ever saw. Great work!
