Zeigler S. S. Yukon menu
bob (08/05/2008)
I have enjoyed for many years my 1939 Zeigler print/menu from the S. S. Yukon. I wonder how rare these are.

My father Gerald Grace was a former student of Mr. Ziegler. I am very fortunate to have a painting he made especially for my father.

I am interested in the oil palette, especially the blues used by Ziegler. Specific information regarding, pigments, brands, etc. would be appreciated.

Eustace Ziegler
Marilyn Babler Monson (04/30/2005)
Eustace is my cousin. His brother, Carl, married me- he was the minister for my wedding. The marriage was in a church built by Paul Ziegler (father of Eustace) and his sons, including Eustace. Eustace designed the windows in our little church in Michigan.

Research Revision
Jamie Franklin (09/23/2004)
While I continue to research Ziegler and the role of religion in his art, I have shifted focus and am now looking closely at various aspects of his time spent in Seattle, from 1909 (he probably passed through Seattle and visited the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exhibition on is way to Alaska) until his death in 1969 (he settled permantly in Seattle in 1924). All assistance is appreciated.

Research material
Jamie Franklin (01/11/2002)
I'm an art history student doing in depth research into the role of religion in Eustace Ziegler's art. Any unpublished info. including paintings, correspondences, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I am also a collector and would be interested in any Ziegler related material.
