Frank Ponstingl was born in Allentown Pa on October 29, 1927. This talented artist and draftsman in architectural design was one of eleven children. Ponstingl found his best artistic experience in Washington D.C. He spent two years as a pupil of Baron in Washington, which is one cause for the surrealist leaning in much of his work.
