Blind Man's Buff - Oil Sketch
mike (11/11/2014)
Hi I asked a question back in 2009 and its still hanging. Does anyone know of any data on Bellows oil sketches . I am sure I have a Bellows but it is a very free sketch compared to his other work. If it is a forgery why would someone forge a Bellows that does not conform to a Bellows?

Lew Miller and Edna Miller
Brent Stevens (04/20/2013)
I am doing research on Lew and Edna Miller of Van Wert Ohio. Both studied with George Bellows in New York. I am looking for related materials or painting by Lew Miller. Any items discussing his time with Mr Bellows. Would be great to have for our research.

A Painting attributed to George Bellows
mike (09/17/2009)
I have an oil sketch ( over pencil ) titled Blind Man's Buff signed G.B. 12 . On the back of the paper is written 'Party N2 ' The subject is a group of girls playing the game. Although the label on the sketch says its by Geo Bellows it is not catalogued - according to Bonhams NY . Does anyone have any data to support linkage to George Bellows? Thanks

Authenticity
Pamela (04/06/2007)
