H.G. Davisson Dutch scene.Jim Kirk
We have a 19 by 26 inch water color by H.G. Davisson showing a presumably Dutch windmill and associated buildings situated along a canal. A bridge in the foreground crosses the canal with a barge passing under it. Two characters are on the bridge and one is on the barge. It is a beautiful softly colored scene purchased at an antique store in Oklahoma in the late 1960's. Does anyone know the year it was painted and its title?
I have this painting of a pull barn up on a hill (left side of painting)and then a small stream on the bottom right corner. Mostly grass and sky showing. It looks as though the signature says "H.F. Davisson". Anyone have info on this artist, or could it be "H.G.". I know this painting came from my grandmother and she said the artist was from around Indiana. Please write with any answers.

Davisson PaintingLinda Lucas
We have acquired through a death in the family a picture of a red brick house with a couple of out buildings on a river bank with a bridge in the distance. There is a limb in the water toward the front of the picture. We would like to know if anyone has any info about the picture; ie, name of the picture, when it might have been painted, etc.
Looking forward to anyone with any info.
