I have a beautiful Ramage of William Alexander, a.k.a. Lord Stirling, my 5 greats grandfather. He was a Major General under Washington. I would appreciate any information regarding Ramage painting other officers. Also, if you would like me to email you a photo, I'd be happy to.

Bad spelling of RamageAskART
Apparently, George Washington, in his diary, misspelled John Ramage's name as 'Rammage'.
Go to the last name 'search box' above on this page, and type in Ramage and you will find the correct information.
