My Icart says copyright 1930, is this an etching, print etc? I have it a very long time and have always been curious.

I have a 1926 Icart called Silk Robe. It has the blind stamp (windmill) and is signed in pencil. The edition number on the lower left is A/51. Does anyone know what this means?

Icart Coursings II Stamp
John Norman (06/20/2008)
I have a Icart picture called Coursings II. It has an embossed stamp in the left bottom corner that is Atelier and dated 1908. Can you tell me about this stamp and why it is dated earlier than the prints of this picture?

Hardy, work like Icart
Bruce Oswald (05/24/2008)
I have two art deco prints of women in fancy or revealing clothing, much like the work of Louis Icart. Can anyone tell me the full name of the artist, with a last name of Hardy? And any other info you can share about Hardy. Thank You So Much for your time!

I have an Icart-Musetta, I think it is 3 of 444, but the 3 is reversed? I wish to have more information on the artist and this etching Thank you

Kate Hodder (03/07/2007)
I am in posession of 3 ICart pieces that I purchased in Montmarte France in 1984. They are titled: Le nid, L'alcove rose and lait renverse. The L'alcove rose has a number 140 to the left of the signature. I have tried to find these particular pieces on line with no luck, I believe they are etchings or art deco style. Does anyone have any information about any of them?

"Les deux amies" (The two friends)
Betty Fox (02/10/2007)
I recently inherited an Icar. It is an aquatint with pencil. The signature is in pencil and looks authentic. It is a lovely piece that there is no way I can tell whether it is authentic or not. I have tried to look at several etchings to see if I could find a simile but, of course, if it is an original (as I suspect it may be) I would never find an answer that way. Can someone, with a great deal more expertise than I have, help me. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

i'm trying to research a numbered drypoint etching that closely resembles Icart's work it is signed and numbered. sig. is not recognizable. paper on back from framer says title is: "Tell Me Your Secrets" by: Hardy.... thing is the signature on front in pencil says nothing resembling Hardy. the title may not be right either. can anyone help identify or point me in the direction of help? thanks!

I know that the model was Icart's daughter Reine. His wife Fanny was prodominately used in his other works with very few exceptions.
