Martin J. Jackson artwork
B. Solow (03/04/2002)
I am Martin J. Jackson's granddaughter. I am interested in communicating with anyone who owns his work. We have a collection of his "old L.A. Chinatown" paintings and "Laguna Beach" paintings and one small painting of the original Hollywood Bowl. We have been trying to put together an exhibit of his work so, if you are interested in lending or know of works of his please get in touch! We also are looking for his illuminated work. We found that he had illuminated the first program for the L.A. Philharmonic and it was reproduced for their 75th anniversary in 1994. He also did the illuminated invitations for the 1932 olympics in L.A. and was awarded a bronze medal.
