So interesting. I have a landscape that was discovered in a warehouse of a stationery/book publisher in Norwalk, CT. Seems he lived the latter part of his life there.

Sallie Saltonstall Fleet (03/08/2004)
I have in my possession an original charcoal portrait of my ancestor, Sir Richard Saltonstall by Robert Crannell Minor, handed down through the family by my grandfather, Brayton Saltonstall. (1848-1936) It is a copy of the "Rembrandt" and according to the Fogg Museum, much more sensitive and skillfully done then the one they have. ( another copy painted by another artist) I wanted to share with anyone the fact that this landscape artist was also a master at portraiture, though I have never seen another portrait done by him.
