growing up vacationing to Vermont to visit his motherkevin schasel
My mother's girl scout leader was Robert's mother. We would visit with her every year. I have my mother's watercolor portrait with two of her girlfriends. Robert painted it when he was only 13 years oldm
Robert Blair's workCarol Eichler
We grew up just a short walk from the home of Robert and Jeanette Blair. When I was about 7 and my sister was 8, Robert Blair did a colored chaulk portrait of each of us. I treasure these wonderful LARGE works of art. I found a ceramic tile done by Robert at a garage sale, of an old horse pulling a wagon, and I treasure this as well. I was a close friend of his daughter Jeanne, who died in college, and knew the sons, David and Bruce. I read that Jeanette had an art showing in Buffalo, to celebrate her 90th birthday. Wish I could have been there. Best wishes to all, fond memories abound.
