May, 2007 We have just seen the exhibit of this artist's copperplate etchings and watercolors at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. UNBELIEVEABLE!! We are so excited to have met him and the amazing reps, Alan and Bonnie Shuptrine of Alan Shuptrine Fine Art!! The party was exceptional and we are so excited to have Mr. Young's works within our Southern regions. Our fine arts community and collectors in the South are happy to have one of the greatest etchers and American watercolorist of our lifetime here in our fine community!! I love the "Promised" painting. The little girl sitting there holding the American flag reminds me of me when I was her age. What year did you create this inspiring portrait? And, what are you doing these days?
Hi I am from Akron,OH the photograph of the little girl sitting in the sun next to a white house and holding the american flag, is actually a picture of me when I was 9 or 10 years old. I have the original photograph.
